This full day cooking class is located in a delightful setting just across the bridge and into the Phang Nga province on the mainland, away from the busy island life. With Return Transfers from/to most hotels in all areas of Phuket, this is a full day experience that will have you visiting a local market, walking through a herbal farm, stopping at a scenic viewpoint of Phang Nga Bay but mostly, of course, have you following a skilled instructor who is teaching you to prepare your own Thai dishes for a lunch.

Being collected at your hotel is a great way to begin the day with Andaman Dream Team. Travel north and cross the Sarasin Bridge, taking you onto the mainland to a Viewpoint where you will stop to take some pictures looking down onto Phang Nga's beautiful countryside.

Soon you will stop off at Khok Koi Market, a typical lively and colour Thai local market full of fruits, vegetables, local souvenirs and other household items. After spending a short while at the market then move to Benyaran History Museum. Upon arrival, enjoy a refreshing welcome drink of pure coconut water. During your 45 minute stroll here you will see all sorts of old-fashioned things displayed here, even an air plane from WW2. Prepare to be surprised!

Then it is off to Nang Yam Thai Cooking School where you will first be given a Welcome Refreshment and a traditional Thai dessert before being given a tour around the organic garden and at the same time collecting some vegetables and herbs to use later on when preparing lunch.

The preparation and cooking will take place in an open-air pavilion set in the middle of the organic garden. An amusing and deeply stimulating activity has been organised for you as you receive instructions and explanations when preparing several Thai dishes amid the lovely aromas of spices and herbs.

In the kitchen, each person gets his own work station complete with equipment. The five dishes you will make will be; Spring Rolls and Tom Sam or Som Tam Pon La Mai followed by a soup of either Tom Kha or Tom Yam, the Main Dish will be Green, Red or Yellow Curry including the making of the curry paste and lastly dessert or Banana in Coconut Milk or Rice Balls in Coconut Milk.
