Description

Departure: Eden island, in front of the Maharaja restaurant at 9h00 .

Free Collection from local hotels: 8h00 or 8h30

You may park at the Eden Plaza basement parking.. After a 20-minute boat ride in a mostly protected bay, you’ll have the opportunity to go snorkeling and hopefully see rays, turtles and even baby sharks, among the large variety of other marine life.

Spend the day in the heavenly St Anne Marine National Park just off the north coast of Mahe in the Seychelles. Snorkel with rays, dolphins, turtles and a miriade of bright coloured fish. You just need to float in the crystal-clear waters of a sand bank to experience this rich marine wonderland. You’ll feel your senses ignite as you share this space with some of the worlds most beautiful marine creatures.

At 11 a.m. we make our way to Moyenne Island National Park, a conservation sanctuary with more species per square foot than anywhere else in the world. Now inhabited by over a hundred giant tortoises, a few caretakers and a dog called Yellow, Moyenne Island has a variety of plant and bird life. Moyenne was once the home of Englishman Brendon Grimshaw, a former newspaper editor who bought the previously uninhabited island in 1962 and lived there alone until his death in 2012. Stroll along the island’s 3 miles of nature paths finding out about him. He is buried there alongside two pirates. Don’t be surprised if Yellow follows along!

We break to enjoy a sumptuous local Creole buffet lunch on Moyenne Island at the Jolly Roger Bar and Restaurant at 1.30 p.m. After lunch, at about 3 p.m, we head to one of the beaches around Ste Anne Marine National Park (to be determined by tide and weather). You can feed the fish, swim or relax and take in the sheer splendor of this amazing place. We make our way back to the marine charter marina, Victoria, at 4.30 p.m. This is a truly memorable experience.
